Senior public policy and sustainability/ESG advisor. I’ve been working in renewable energy and sustainable investment for ten years in government (UK Cabinet Office) and industry (at Bulb and at Octopus).

I was the first regulatory and policy hire at Bulb, the renewable energy supplier and one of the UK’s fastest growing companies. I built Bulb’s approach to sustainability, law and regulation from scratch as it scaled from 100k to 1.7m customers. I work with the senior leadership on Bulb’s sustainability credentials, public policy positions, regulatory strategy, international expansion, product development and compliance framework.

Prior to this, I was a Senior Adviser in the UK government’s impact investment team, leading its work on supporting new business models like B Corp, embedding ESG factors into tax and regulations, and building impact-driven organisations like the Access Foundation. I began my career in corporate and international law at Freshfields in London and Paris.

Currently building my greentech startup Goplugable. Goplugable is an “Airbnb of electric vehicle private chargers”. Goplugable enables EV drivers with no access to home charging infrastructure to have better accessibility and convenience in their EV charging experience. Our innovative app is a one stop shop for all EV charging needs and allows hosts to rent out their home chargers on to our marketplace.

Damien Buie is Sector Lead, Energy Transition at Amazon Web Services (AWS). With over 20 years of experience in the energy industry, Damien is the Industry Lead for renewables, electrical networks and energy services within AWS for Energy, globally responsible for supporting its customers to accelerate the energy transition. Damien’s area of expertise is in leveraging data to drive innovation at scale. Prior to this role, Damien was the Chief Digital Officer of the renewables division of EDF, based in Paris, and led the digital transformation of the group, following on from more than 10 years of experience in North America leading innovation and product development. Damien has a PhD in Computational Physics for the University of Sydney and post-doctoral experience at University College London.

Slava Kulko is an experienced professional in the utilities and energy sectors, currently serving as Key Account Director at IFS, a leader in enterprise software for asset-centric industries. With over 15 years of experience working at the intersection of technology and utilities, Slava has been instrumental in guiding major organizations in transforming their operations to not only improve efficiency but also generate social value for their customers. Leveraging IFS’s expertise in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Slava works closely with energy and utilities companies to implement outcome-based solutions that enhance service delivery, streamline processes, and help them achieve their sustainability and operational goals.

Slava has a keen interest in how digital transformation within the utilities sector can create positive social impacts while serving business needs. Throughout his career at IFS, Oracle, and ClickSoftware, he has focused on helping organizations unlock the potential of smart energy solutions to deliver long-term value to their customers and communities, while also driving operational excellence.

Simon has over 25 years of consulting experience in the Energy and Utilities industry; Centrica, National Grid, E.ON, EDF, ESB, Dwr Cymru Welsh Water, Anglian Water, United Utilities, Thames Water, and Orsted. He previously held roles such as Industry Architect for Energy & Utilities at IFS and Head of Systems for a Smart Metering installation business. In this time he has seen how the trends have changed in the industry including Water, Metering, Renewables, Distribution, and Retail.

With nearly 10 years of Customer Communication Management experience, Anthony provides a wide array of customer solutions in order to solve their communication problems.

I lead the customer experience, product and design service line for Thoughtworks Europe. I am passionate about helping clients put customers at the heart of their business and deliver impactful experiences that drive business growth.

I joined Thoughtworks in 2004 and have played several roles since, leading enterprises and startups across technology, product management and strategy. I enjoy the challenge of bringing clarity in an ambiguous environment and driving sustainable change.

Lacey has over 18 years of experience in the utilities industry, holding senior leadership positions at companies including nPower, Evolve Analytics, Gentrack, and Social Energy. She’s also provided strategic advisory services to Zoa, a spin-out of Bulb Energy.As Chief Strategy Officer at IMServ, Lacey is responsible for driving new growth for a business at the heart of energy data, looking at business strategy, technology and new product innovation and development. Her focus is on creating data-driven insights and sustainable energy solutions to help energy suppliers, consumers and businesses achieve their sustainability and net zero goals.IMServ, the UK’s leading meter data management expert, delivers Meter Operator (MOP) and Data Collector (DC) services and is an award winning pioneer of metering and data collection services in the utility sector.
