Alex Howard is the Head of Flexibility Markets at UK Power Networks.

Alex leads the design and procurement of flexibility services within the Distribution System Operator at UK Power Networks (UKPN). With more than 300,000 flexible assets now registered, his team have pioneered the use of day-ahead flexibility, demand turn up and flexi for voltage management at distribution level. Prior to UKPN, Alex worked at Octopus Energy and at software start-up, Origami Energy. He has a degree in Computer Science.
