Karim Chester leads SpaceX‘s work with regulated industries across EMEA. He partners with boards, C-suite and technology leaders in energy, utilities and financial services on how frontier AI and AI agents can reshape their operations safely, from the first use cases through to measurable outcomes at enterprise scale. His perspective comes from building AI-native businesses from the ground up. At Baseten, the AI inference platform, he built the enterprise business from scratch, helping large organisations run AI reliably in production. Before that, at Qdrant, the open-source vector search engine behind many enterprise retrieval and generative AI applications, he helped scale the company more than fivefold in a year and established its US team. Earlier, across nearly two decades in enterprise technology at Kong, MongoDB, Docker, EMC and Oracle, he worked closely with banks and other highly regulated organisations on major platform change. Karim’s focus is helping leaders get real value from AI without compromising on safety: aligning it to business priorities, building trust and accountability from day one, and moving from promising pilots to systems that critical infrastructure can depend on.
