Rodney Doyle is the Managing Director, Energy Transition in KPMG Management Consulting, where he leads KPMG’s research and client engagements on the energy transition across grid and markets.

Rodney works with clients on improving the understanding of market dynamics, grid operations (onshore and offshore), and generator operations and performance across all technologies.

He was formerly the COO and CIO of EirGrid, the Irish electricity transmission system operator, where he held multiple roles over more than 20 years. He also previously worked for the Commerce Commission in New Zealand, regulating utilities.
