Swetta Coopamah is the Head of Smart Energy Systems at BEAMA, leading industry work across smart energy, flexibility, interoperability and the future integration of connected technologies within the UK energy system.

She works closely with Government, regulators and industry bodies on major programmes including Smart Secure Electricity Systems (SSES), flexibility market reform, smart metering evolution and consumer-led flexibility.

With over 18 years’ experience across utilities, regulation and energy market change, Swetta brings a practical manufacturer and delivery perspective to the challenges of electrification, smart technologies and system transformation.
