Future of Utilities: Energy Transition Summit 2026 is being held at SugarFactory, Amsterdam. The event entrance can be found using the what3words location ///listed.rooting.boil.
We recommend traveling to the SugarFactory using public transport where possible, however there are parking spaces available if you choose to travel by car.
BY TRAIN: Sugar Factory is opposite Halfweg-Zwanenburg station, which is a ten minute journey from either Amsterdam Centraal or Haarlem with regular service throughout the day. Halfweg-Zwanenburg is also a 15 minute journey via trains from Schiphol with the 4 services per hour. The station has lifts on the platform, and a park and ride site outside.
BY CAR: The address to enter on your GPS is: Kristalpromenade 7, Halfweg.
From Haarlem follow signs form Alkmaar on the A9 as far as Haarlem, then follow the signs for Halfweg/Amsterdam. Exit the A9 and follow the A200 towards Halfweg.
From Amsterdam you can reach SugarFactory via the A10 and A9, or the A10 and N200. From the A9 follow the route described above.
From Schiphol take the A4 towards Rotterdam, and follow the signs for Haarlem. Enter the A5 following the signs for Haarlem Zuid and join the A9. Then follow the route as described above.
BY PLANE: Schiphol is the closest airport to SugarFactory. From Schiphol you can take a train or drive to SugarFactory as described above.
