Tobias Aschoff is an experienced technology and engineering leader with a strong track record in driving digital innovation across the energy and industrial sectors. Since 2024, he has served as Head of Software Application Engineering at Siemens Energy, following several senior roles focused on IoT, edge computing, cloud platforms, and digital product development.

Previously, Tobias led Product Development for Digital Grid, where he oversaw global software and hardware delivery, introduced SAFe for a team of more than 100 experts, and successfully launched redesigned SensProducts applications and platforms. As Director of Digital Engineering for Omnivise Digital Services, he managed large international teams and guided the release of key digital offerings, including Asset Management and PDS Live, while achieving ISO27001 certification.

His earlier roles include leading cloud platform development across global locations, modernizing edge and data acquisition platforms, and heading operational data management for the Power and Gas division. Tobias began his career in the Siemens Graduate Program, gaining international experience in engineering, supply management, and digitalization initiatives.

He holds a Master of Science and a Diploma in Industrial and Business Engineering from the University of Kassel, complemented by international studies in France. Tobias combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership, organizational transformation experience, and a passion for building high‑performing global teams.
