Shubhi is a dynamic, experienced, and innovative technology leader, skilled at driving change and transformation through digital and data. She is currently the Chief Information and Digital Officer for National Grid Electricity System Operator (ESO).

The ESO is at the heart of the transformation to a fully decarbonised electricity system by 2035. Shubhi is enabling this through multi-layered digital, data and technology transformation at the ESO. Shubhi believes that at the heart of successful delivery and transformation are people and is passionate about growing talent and developing leaders for the future.

Before joining the ESO, she held senior positions in British American Tobacco (BAT plc) and BP plc. She holds a degree in Civil Engineering and an MBA in Change Management. She is a Non-Executive Director, and Board EDI champion for the National Children’s Bureau.
