Seb is CTO for Centrica Hive Limited where he was part of the founding team.

He has a long history in IT with an initial development background in Computing and Artificial Intelligence and has grown through the various IT disciplines to be in his current role. Before beginning an extensive career in the world of mobile, he spent many years in academic research,holds a Masters qualification in Knowledge Based Systems and is both a Fellow of the British Computer Society & a Chartered IT Practitioner (FBCS CITP).

He has extensive Software Engineering, Architecture, and Delivery experience, operating at board level in complex and fast-moving industries. Prior to Hive, he worked for Telefonica O2 UK as Group CTO across businesses like, advertising and mobile wallet services. He has a passion for new ideas in technology, innovation, as well as driving change and making an impact.
