As a seasoned professional with over a decade and a half of experience in the entech industry, Rob has established himself as a thought leader in the field of electrification and digitisation. With a deep understanding of emerging technologies and their applications in business, he has helped numerous organisations navigate the ever-evolving landscape of decarbonisation through electrification.

Throughout his career, Rob has proven to be an effective communicator and collaborator, working closely with stakeholders across departments to deliver innovative solutions that drive growth and streamline operations. He is passionate about creating value for clients through his strategic approach to problem-solving and his ability to translate technical jargon into practical business outcomes.

In his current role as Head of Electrification, Rob is responsible for the development of new propositions from the Octopus Energy Group that match clean technologies, investment and business needs with the vast array of expertise within the Octopus Energy Group. He has also been instrumental in driving the development of innovative partnerships with organisations such as the NatWest Group and Tesla and is focussed on transforming transport and real estate. He is currently working on a vast array of innovative projects from Aircraft Charging Networks and Commercial Ferry Charging to multi-tech infrastructure projects that decarbonise real estate while maximising grid connection value and utilisation.

As an industry expert, Rob is often invited to speak at conferences and events, sharing his insights on topics such as Renewable Generation, PPAs, Sleeving, EV Charging, Digitisation and Democratisation of the energy market. He is also been an active participant in the recent PM Business Council discussions on decarbonising public transport, where he contributed to the development of a zero emissions framework for public transport in the North West using his thought leadership and expertise.
