Paolo Bergamo is CEO and Chairman of OverIT, a world leading company in Field Service Management software.
After his PhD in Computer Engineering at the University of Ferrara in 2002, he joins Leonard Kleinrock, known as “Father of the Internet” at the UCLA.
It is 2004 when he embarks on a new journey in the world of startups, developing a technological platform for companies to extend the use of their corporate apps to mobile devices.
In 2006, the startup is acquired by Salesforce, where Paolo plays a main role in designing a significant number of the company’s products, driven by his strong focus on mobile technology.
A major accomplishment is that of 2008, when Steve Jobs picks Paolo and his team to create the first app to launch in the App Store.
2017 is the year that sees him developing a new Field Service Management business unit, to then reconnect with the Italian scene, as the Salesforce Country Leader for Italy.
After nearly 20 years in California, Paolo is now back in Italy as the Chief Executive Officer of OverIT, with the ambitious goal of turning it into a key player on the global scenario.
