Nicci became Waterwise Managing Director in 2017. Nicci regularly judges the Institute of Water?s Innovation Awards and the Water Industry Awards. She is an Honorary Fellow of CIWEM and an active mentor. She chairs Defra?s new Senior Water Demand Reduction Group and sits on Defra?s Expert Group on Environment Bill Water Targets and ACEVO?s Climate Crisis Working Group. From 2013 to 2017 Nicci was a Director at Ofwat. She was Special Adviser to Margaret Beckett, Defra Secretary of State, from 2001 to 2005. She co-founded Waterwise in 2005. Nicci is a high school Governor and trustee of a local educational charity.
