Nathan Marsh, has recently joined Costain’s Executive Board as its first ever chief digital officer as Costain continues to invest in and prioritise digital.
Nathan is responsible for leading the accelerated implementation of Costain’s digital strategy, with responsibility for the delivery of group wide digital services enhancing solutions to clients.
As the whole sector embraces digital transformation, he will ensure that every service we offer is digitally optimised and that we provide new solutions founded on the application of digital technology, supporting clients to leverage the full benefits of digital connectivity, designing, building and operating infrastructure for the future.
His focus in water will be to apply digitally enabled solutions, combining data management, analysis and visualisation expertise with our deep understanding of the asset lifecycle in water to address some of the sectors biggest challenges of efficiency, resilience and affordability to deliver transformational results for clients in asset creation, maintenance and optimisation.
Nathan will also represent Costain on key strategic industry groups ensuring we continue to shape the future of digital infrastructure.
Nathan has over 20 years’ experience working in digital transformation with a particular focus on planning and enabling digital capabilities across the UK’s critical national infrastructure. Nathan is experienced in leading client and consulting teams to design and deliver programmes with new commercial structures, leveraging technology and new operating models across sectors including government, digital infrastructure, future mobility, water, defence, capital markets and strategic risk. His career history includes working with at Atkins, McKinsey & Co, EY and AON and seven years as an army officer.
