Kevin Smith is the communications director of WREN, the Wadebridge Renewable Energy Network, a volunteer-led community organisation promoting the use of renewable energy and energy efficiency. WREN was one of four partners (with Western Power Distribution, Regen and Tempus Energy) in the Sunshine Tariff project which aimed to see how much domestic consumers would be able to shift demand for electricity to the middle of the day, in response to a much lower unit price.
