Kate Thornton joined SES Water as Chief Customer Officer in 2020. She began her career with British Airways and spent over 20 years in a range of commercial, marketing and customer management roles, leading the global product and service function for the airline. She went on to serve as Chief Customer Officer at Simplyhealth, where she was responsible for redefining the company’s purpose and putting customer needs at the heart of commercial strategy. She is passionate about the link between employee and customer experience, and the power of business to generate value for all of its stakeholders.
