John Gilbert is an experienced Programme Director and senior leader with over thirty years of experience working across the utility sector.

He joined MOSL as Head of Planning in January 2020 and is responsible for MOSL’s project and programme planning and delivery. This includes delivery of our flagship Bilaterals Transactions change programme.

Since joining, John has established our Programme Management Office and is shaping the way MOSL plan and implement change. This includes the introduction of quarterly reporting and the move to a three-year budget and planning cycle. John was attracted to MOSL by the opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders in order to lead and accelerate change within the non-house market that delivers tangible benefits for trading parties and end customers.

John graduated from the Kingston University in 1993 with an honours degree in Mechanical Engineering. Outside of work, John is married with two sons. He keeps fit through running, cycling and swimming and spends far too much time and money tinkering with classic cars.
