Jan is a highly skilled energy analyst with broad knowledge of energy, energy security, and digitalization issues. He currently helps global tech & innovations consulting firm P3 Group develop energy innovation topics. In his former role as Head of Digital Transformation at Czech Republic’s National Power Grid Operator, he was deeply involved in finding solutions to the many challenges brought about by energy transformation and decentralization but also deploying new technologies such as AI, drones, or VR. As convenor of working group “Digitalization and Communication” in Europe’s TSO association ENTSO-E, Jan pushed forward topics such as AI or vendor independence on an international scale. His previous experience also includes work as an energy policy analyst in the International Energy Agency, as an advisor to the World Energy Council or as a government officer with responsibilities in national energy security.
