James Graham joined SmartestEnergy in 2012 as a Business Development Manager after more than a decade’s experience working in the energy sector. He later became Head of Sales for Asset Optimisation.

In his current role of Vice President, James is responsible for leading the Asset Optimisation Group, which focusses on monetising flexible assets across ancillary and energy markets for both generators and demand response customers. He also works with the company’s stakeholders, including their technology partner, Origami Energy to deliver new opportunities to SmartestEnergy’s customers.

James’ career in the energy industry has seen him hold senior roles with companies including Reactive Technologies and Bergen Energi.
