Elena Fjørtoft is Head of Department for R&D – Grid infrastructure at Statnett, the Norwegian power transmission operator. She and her team focus on research and develop of new innovative technologies that contribute to increased security of supply and cost-effective integration of renewable energy in the future power system. Elena holds a joint master’s degrees in Energy Management form the IFP School in France and BI Norwegian Business School in Norway.
