Dominic is the senior manager accountable for providing national policy on water quality protection, permitting and compliance for the Environment Agency.  Responsible for setting strategic direction, providing operational support and technical guidance to enable the Agency to protect and improve water quality in England. National portfolio lead for developing professional skills and resilience for water quality for the Environment Agency.

Have worked in water industry regulation for 25 years joining the fledgling National Rivers Authority in 1992 after shorts spell with Northumbrian Water in asset management and the laboratories. Have moved across operations, planning and policy in various technical and leadership roles within the Environment Agency since in 1996.

Currently leading the development and implementation of a new waste water flow policy which will see the introduction of better monitoring and investment of towards £1billion in on flow improvement schemes in PR19.
