Brad Williams is Vice President, Industry Strategy, Innovation & Engineering at Oracle Utilities Global Business Unit responsible for utilities operational solutions innovation and grid modernization.
Brad has more than 34-years of utility technology innovation experience. Prior to Oracle, Brad was a Gartner Analyst responsible for Utility Operational Solution Research.  He also spent over 20-years in utility T&D Engineering and Asset Management.  Utility roles included Director of Technology Development at PacifiCorp and Supervising Distribution Engineer and Transmission Planning Engineer at Southern California Edison.  Throughout his career, Brad has led a number of successful utility smart grid initiatives, written many technical papers and trade journal articles, including an IEEE/PES Prize Paper, and holds four US Patents on related smart grid technologies.  Brad received MBA and BSEE/Power Systems degrees from Cal Poly and is a licensed Professional Engineer in California.
