Bless is the Head of System Planning and Investment with SSEN Transmission, the owner and operator of the north of Scotland electricity transmission system. Bless has over 20 years’ experience in the electricity industry, specialising in power system planning and investment in transmission and distribution networks. In his current role, he focuses on enabling the transition to net zero emissions in the energy sector through the planning of the transmission network in the north of Scotland to accommodate customer connections and to provide the necessary grid capacity, working with other network operators and the Electricity System Operator.
