Those home sessions are where he sees what people actually worry about, like setting up home charging, picking an energy tariff or planning a first long journey. They also show him where the advice drivers have been given doesn’t fit how they live.

Over five years in automotive retail, including dedicated EV roles with premium and EV-native brands, Ben has guided hundreds of drivers through the move to electric. Along the way he has seen what builds a customer’s trust and what quickly loses it. He also shares practical, impartial EV advice as “Electric Ben” on YouTube and LinkedIn, and won the EV Retail category in The EV Café’s 2025 “12 Crackers of Christmas” awards for unbiased EV education.
