Andrew is Distribution System Operations (DSO) Director, for Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN).  He is leading the transition to a smart flexible network to support to support the low carbon transition.

A Chartered Electrical Engineer with over 20 years’ experience in the electricity industry, starting his career as a graduate engineer in Midlands Electricity.  He has held senior roles in UK Engineering and Utility companies including, E.ON Central Networks, Western Power Distribution, Costain and SSEN.  His experience spans Operations, Asset Management, Strategy and Commercial including delivering major business and IT change projects.
