Anda is a low-carbon professional passionate about delivering sustainable societal outcomes. As sustainability manager at Northern Powergrid, her focus is on enabling net zero emissions’ targets to be met in the Yorkshire & North East, and delivering stakeholder and policy engagement on decarbonisation of transport, heat, and local energy. Anda has worked on advancing the decarbonisation agenda across a range of sectors – prior to joining Northern Powergrid, she held roles in NGOs, worked as a government official, later going on to work in research and in consulting. Anda’s practical, on-the-ground work is rooted in strong academic principles; she holds an MSc in Environmental Management & Environmental Economics, an MSc in Biology, and a BSc in Environmental Science.
