James is a communications consultant with extensive experience both in-house and consultancy. He currently leads UK corporate and policy communications for Bolt, a leading European mobility provider whose services include ride hailing, e-scooter, e-bikes, car clubs and online food delivery. Previously, James was the Head of Communications at FTSE 100 listed Flutter Entertainment plc, running financial, corporate and internal communications across the global group for nine years.

He is most passionate about helping digital consumer businesses grow through creative, integrated communications campaigns. But during his career he has also enjoyed supporting a range of more challenging situations including hostile takeovers, strategic turnarounds, transformational M&A, restructurings and senior management transition. On the more specialist projects, he has overhauled an internal communications infrastructure from top to bottom and managed a high-profile FTSE100 corporate rebrand (Flutter) from its inception to delivery on the London Stock Exchange and beyond.
