Senior public policy and sustainability/ESG advisor. I’ve been working in renewable energy and sustainable investment for ten years in government (UK Cabinet Office) and industry (at Bulb and at Octopus).

I was the first regulatory and policy hire at Bulb, the renewable energy supplier and one of the UK’s fastest growing companies. I built Bulb’s approach to sustainability, law and regulation from scratch as it scaled from 100k to 1.7m customers. I work with the senior leadership on Bulb’s sustainability credentials, public policy positions, regulatory strategy, international expansion, product development and compliance framework.

Prior to this, I was a Senior Adviser in the UK government’s impact investment team, leading its work on supporting new business models like B Corp, embedding ESG factors into tax and regulations, and building impact-driven organisations like the Access Foundation. I began my career in corporate and international law at Freshfields in London and Paris.

Broad exposure to and vast network in Asia’s emerging markets after having lived and worked in Malaysia, Cambodia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand for over 11 years. Combines strong analytical skills with emotional intelligence to come up with valuable commercial and strategic insights. Known for forging meaningful relationships in and across teams through authenticity and candor. Kim is a passionate leader within the Industry Business Unit for Energy & Utilities focusing on the sustainable energy transition as well as the future customer experience. Her team is combining the expertise around many important topics and technologies our industries will need for the future of energy generation as well as energy retail. Within her 15 years at SAP she gained experience in different roles such as consulting and pre sales. In her former role as Business Architect she led many German Retail customers successfully into or through their SAP S/4HANA conversion.
