Chairman British Gurkha Welfare Society, Justice of Peace and a Governor of the NHS Trust.  He was a School Governor recognised with the Don Allen award and for his community role working with the police in North Hampshire he was twice awarded the OCU Commander’s award.  His community dedication was formally recognised by the coveted Asian Achievers Award 2011 and one of the top ten Nepali personalities 2013 in the UK by the Nepali Media UK.  An ex Gurkha Officer with 31 years of service in the British Army he is the CEO GnERGY the first ever community-led energy supplying company and CEO Gurkha Resources involved in Hydro projects in Nepal.
