Head of Lifecycle Asset Planning, NI Water

Thomas has worked in the water industry since graduation from the Queens University of Belfast in 1996 as a Civil Engineer.  He spent 10 years working on direct Civil Engineering projects, being responsible for the  Design, Site supervision and project management of a range of Water and Sewerage projects.

Shortly after NI Water was formed in April 2007 Thomas transferred to the Regulation team and was responsible for capital investment reporting,  supporting the opex efficiency assessment team deriving special factors etc. as well as pioneering energy benchmarking within the business.

In November 2016 Thomas progressed into the NI Water Strategic Client function and currently holds the role of Head of Asset Lifecycle Planning leading  a multi-disciplinary team setting strategic direction of the company, managing our Capital Maintenance planning development process and Innovation programme which includes iCAT.
