Steve is currently Group Chief Information Security Officer at Anglian Water where he is accountable for ‘all things cyber’ which includes developing and delivering the vision, strategy, security programme and sec-ops across the organisation. His remit includes traditional IT services, cloud IT, IoT and Operational Technology (OT) for both office and remote field locations presenting a diverse set of challenges. A significant part of Steve’s focus is on making security easy to understand, simple to engage with and pragmatic to operate. Prior to working in security his career included a variety of roles within IT spanning service management, programme management and management consulting. Steve holds CISM, GICSP, ITIL, ISO20000 and PRINCE2 qualifications.
