Shane Woodroffe

Shane is a founding partner at EnerCap Capital Partners which manages the €98 million EnerCap Power Fund which invests in renewable energy projects in the CEE region. Shane has over 20 years of expertise in project finance and M&A in the energy sector and at EnerCap, Shane has responsibility for raising non recourse debt for the EnerCap investments.

Prior to EnerCap, Shane was a Director in the Renewable Energy team at Fortis Bank in London where he executed project finance debt for wind, biomass and landfill gas projects. Prior to this he was a Director in the Energy Advisory team at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and prior to this Shane acted as a lender’s engineer whilst at Mott MacDonald.

Shane holds an MBA from ESCP-EAP in France and a Bachelor in Engineering from Monash University in Australia.
