Sam is a Director and co-founder of Economic Insight with over 20 years of experience as a professional economist.  He is recognised as a leading expert in regulatory economics, particularly within regulatory finance, and he has advised extensively across water, energy, telecoms, and transport sectors.  Sam is particularly adept at translating complex analyses into clear, straightforward messages that help clients make informed choices.

Sam also sits on the expert external advisory panels to both the CMA and Bar Standards Board.  He is widely published in relation to regulation, competition and business strategy matters.
