Ralf Korntner is the global Head of NextGen Grid Management at Siemens Grid Software. In this role he is leads an incubator that develops the next generation of software products for DSOs.

Prior to this role, Ralf was the global Head of the Siemens Microgrid business where he was responsible for the global Microgrid Controls portfolio. Ralf holds a master’s degree in physics and has held various positions within the different Siemens businesses, mostly focusing on growing new, innovative business fields.
