Goran Strbac is a Professor of Energy Systems at Imperial College. His research, conducted in close collaboration with energy industry and policy makers, focuses on the development of technical, economic and market frameworks to facilitate cost effective integration of new forms of low carbon generation considering flexible technologies including energy storage, advanced network and demand side technologies. He is Director of the UK Centre for Grid Scale Energy Storage, member of the Panel of Technical Experts working on the implementation of Electricity Market Reform. He co-authored 5 books and published over 180 technical papers.
