Paulo heads the Technology and Innovation Department at EDP Distribuição. He has led the development of smart grid solutions, involving architecture definition, specification, functionality, testing and qualification of devices. Previously, as a consultant, he managed several projects in the utilities, transport and telecommunication sectors.

Paulo holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Business Management Program. He currently serves as vice-chair of the Technology Committee of EDSO.
