Monika joined the National Infrastructure Commission in June 2021 and she is a policy lead on topics related to water, wastewater and flooding sectors.

Monika has a background in civil engineering and has six years of experience working in the water and wastewater sector. Previously, she worked for Stantec as a civil engineering designer. She is an Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) President’s Future Leader alumni and an awardee of a leadership scholarship from the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAEng). She co-founded the first Community of Practice in Community Engagement and is actively engaged in strategic initiatives across the infrastructure industry as a committee member for both RAEng and ICE projects.
