Meghna has significant experience across energy regulation and finance. She has led implementation of consumer protection strategies, governance reviews and enforcement cases. Meghna is an economist with a background in competition policy and consumer protection. Currently, she leads Ofgem’s consumer policy team covering vulnerable, household and business consumer segments. She is also a non-executive member on the Provider Risk Committee for the Office of Students.  Prior to Ofgem she worked in the area of banking and development finance advising south Asian governments on developmental projects
