Mark is a member of the IAM’s UK Chapter (https://uk.theiam.org) who’s priorities are to promote and enable the generation and application of knowledge, training and good practice, and to help individuals become demonstrably competent in asset management. 

Mark is a Registered Asset Management Professional and Fellow of the IAM, IMechE and SaRS. 

Mark is an asset management (AM) and reliability SME with extensive experience in culture and change management, including training and coaching, from CEOs to Front Line Operatives. 

Mark understands the entire asset lifecycle, from requirements to disposal, having been involved in every stage across multiple industries as an Asset Manager, supplier, designer, developer, consultant and client in his 30+ year career. 

Mark has led design teams, development projects, validated new products (as supplier & purchaser), set up warranty systems, implemented AIMS, created and embedded ISO55k AMS (Asset Management Systems), carried out AM maturity assessments etc. with direct experience of Nuclear, Automotive, Blue-Chip manufacturing, Metro Rail, Construction Equipment and Mainline Rail. 

Mark now advises clients on ways to introduce or improve AMS and processes to reduce risk, cut cost and improve performance, saving up to 75% of O&M cost, guiding the investment process through robust requirement setting and commissioning.
