In March this year, SafeMove, a business for which Mr Pitcher has been the Departmental Head became the UK’s Excellence Award Winner 2018 at the British Quality Foundation’s Excellence awards in London’s Guildhall. The award, one of the highest accolades in the business world, was presented by the Patron HRH The Princess Royal, Princess Ann.

An experienced member of Yorkshire Water’s Senior Leadership Team with 17 years in the Water industry, Lee has held roles in Customer Service, Asset and Operational Management. He has led organisational design and successfully created and delivered strategy in specific areas of flood and coastal risk.

A former Guinness Book of World Record holder and fluent Russian speaker, Lee has often been on the centre stage hosting business conferences with the likes of Countryfile’s Julia Bradbury.
