Lauren Vazquez started training as a British Gas apprentice 3 years ago and now works in the British Gas smart metering installation team in South East London and Kent.  Lauren meets British Gas customers on a daily basis, installing smart meters and helping customers to get the most benefit from them.  Her work has contributed to the 4.5million domestic meters British Gas have installed to date, whilst enabling her to do a practical, hands-on job she enjoys, as well as providing her with skills for life.
