Kiel has worked in IT within the utilities industry for 15 years. He started out as a Business Analyst within Thames Water and has steadily progressed to his current role as Director of IT & Commercial for Npower. During his career he has worked throughout the value chain across various parts of the RWE, Innogy and now the Eon Group. He has worked across a range of roles and projects including commercial, IT operations, IT & business recovery and transformation programmes. Kiel’s current role is in charge of the IT decommissioning and closure of Npower’s B2C business, whilst merging the Eon and Npower into the UK’s largest I&C business. Kiel deals with a complex industry, IT & stakeholder landscape and enjoys using technology and innovation as a means of simplification. Kiel now lives in Swindon but has worked across Europe and the UK throughout his career.
