John is the Head of Innovation for SGN, responsible for the delivery of innovation projects within the network. Before joining SGN, John spent some time in the onshore and offshore pipeline industry in senior positions and more recently as Commercial Director at Booth Welsh Automation where he was responsible for leading the commercial, legal and innovation functions. John is a time served technician and has achieved a BEng in Mechanical and Electronic Systems, a Master of Laws (LLM) in Oil and Gas Law and an MSc in Oil and Gas Innovation both at Robert Gordon University.
