John has worked at British Gas for 7 years, joining as a mentor in the early days of the smart metering programme.  He mentored newly trained smart energy experts (smart installers) and has helped bring on hundreds of recruits.  He is currently based in South London and coaches a team of around 30 in all aspects of their role to ensure they give a great installation experience to our customers.
