Jan started working with solar applications in the Pacific Islands in 1993 delivering PV Systems into the Islands of Tonga until 1998. Two years in Australia ensued with time spent with the PV group at the ANU working on concentrating PV applications. In 2000 Jan returned to Europe where he joined Solarcentury delivering PV plant into various iconic domestic, commercial and utility settings In the UK, Europe, Africa and South America as Technical Director. From around 2010 the focus moved to large scale ground mount systems moving to the present multi hundred MW plants with Statkraft. As Director of Asset Management Jan is responsible for the European fleet of PV Plants under Statkraft management. A key focus is the long term optimisation of Plant technical and commercial performance via advanced in-house Statkraft analytics.
