Jamie Speirs leads the Sustainable Gas Institute White Paper Series where he investigates the social, technical and economic issues affecting energy systems in the UK, Europe and globally. He has 13 years’ experience in energy techno-economic research. The White Paper Series uses the systematic review method to gather evidence and address contentious topics in energy. Jamie led the SGI’s most recent White Paper “The flexibility of gas: what is it worth?”. Jamie regularly provides expert evidence and analysis to a range of non-academic stakeholders including government, industry and the third sector.
