Charlie is the Founder and CEO of Rightcharge, the UK’s comparison service for electric car charging. He has a background in engineering and science having worked at CERN (Geneva) on the next generation of the Large Hadron Collider and studied MSc Climate Change, Management & Finance at Imperial Business school. Charlie started his electric car career at Octopus Electric Vehicles and Octopus Energy (now one of the UK?s few Unicorn start-ups), where he managed electric vehicle charging solutions – a natural precursor to founding Rightcharge. In 2018, Charlie won the Young Renewable Energy Professional Award and Young Energy Professional Award for his work at Octopus on vehicle-to-grid charging.
