Ben joined Yorkshire Water in 2002 and has worked in a variety of Operations, Asset Management and Strategic Investment roles before becoming a General Manager in 2013. He has led large operational departments since then including Energy and Recycling where he led the Anaerobic Digestion strategy and renewable energy transformation for the business.

In January 2019, Ben became Director of Waste Water and has accountability for the collection, treatment and recycling of waste water across the Yorkshire region including the Bioresources business.  Ben has a passion for the environment and leads the company’s plan for achieving “net zero (carbon) by 2030”.

Ben is also a director of Kelda Transport Management Limited, which manages the transport activities of Yorkshire Water.
