Ben Guest joined OVO Energy as Head of Field Force, In Home Technology (IHT), in 2016 and has grown Field Force from a team of 20 to over 180 in the last 15 months. IHT have installed over 660,000 smart meters in customers’ homes, with a large number of these being installed through the Field Force team, whilst providing leading customer service levels. Ben’s responsibilities additionally extend to supply chain operations and ensuring all regulations are abided by with the compliance and governance teams.

Prior to joining OVO, Ben spe nt 16 years with British Gas, serving in a number of operational and development roles in Smart Metering, including Head of Operations. During his time at British Gas, he helped set up some of the first Smart Metering operational activity in the industry in 2010.
