Andrew Mack is the CEO of Octopus Energy Germany. The Full-Service EnerTech pioneer is driving the energy transition worldwide, delivering 100% green power and outstanding service. 

Since fall 2022, the start-up entrepreneur has also been managing the newly founded Octopus Energy Services, which is establishing and expanding the heat pump business in Germany. 

Andrew Mack is a proven expert on energy transition, renewable energies, and the digitalization of the energy market, especially smart meters. He also advocates for consumer protection and social justice, as well as climate change. 

Previously, Mack spent several years as chief strategist at UK utility OVO Energy, helping it transform from a small business to the UK’s second-largest independent energy provider. 

He holds a master’s degree in engineering, economics, and management from Oxford University and an MBA from INSEAD.
